Always be recording

The best moments and the worst ones both happen with no warning. Run a background recorder every session and you will never wish you had.

• NVIDIA app / ShadowPlay — built into NVIDIA drivers. Turn on Instant Replay and press the save hotkey after something happens.
• AMD Adrenalin — the same thing, under Record & Stream.
• Xbox Game Bar — built into Windows. Press Win + G.
• Medal.tv or OBS — if you would rather have something dedicated.

Set the buffer to at least three minutes so you can capture the lead-up, not just the moment.

What makes a clip useful

• Include the build-up. A clip that starts at the gunshot proves nothing. Staff need what happened before it.
• Keep your audio. Voice chat is usually the whole case, in both directions.
• Do not edit it. No cuts, no music, no commentary. An edited clip raises questions about what was cut.
• Upload it somewhere that will still work next week — Medal, YouTube as unlisted, or Streamable. Discord attachment links expire.

Then

Paste the link into the Evidence link field on the report or refund form. You do not need to describe the clip frame by frame — just say roughly where in it the important part happens.
